Auburn earned its first top-15 victory since 2023 with a 1–0 win over #13 Tennessee on Thursday night at the Auburn Soccer Complex. Dylan Driver scored the only goal in the 25th minute after Gracie Brown intercepted a pass and played a first-time ball over the top, with Driver finishing to the far post.
The Tigers protected that lead through the second half for their ninth shutout in 12 matches. Tennessee did not put a shot on target for the first 78 minutes, and goalkeeper Ayana Yapo punched away the Lady Vols’ best late effort to collect the 50th save of her career. Auburn improved to 7–2–3 overall and 3–2–0 in the SEC; Tennessee fell to 6–2–3 and 1–2–2 after losing for the second time this season.
