Harder Scores Twice as Bayern Rout Stuttgart

Pernille Harder scored twice and set up two more goals as FC Bayern Munich beat newly promoted VfB Stuttgart 5-0 on Monday night, closing Matchday 7 of the Frauen-Bundesliga with a seventh win in seven games and a three-point lead over VfL Wolfsburg at the top of the table.

The first league meeting between the clubs was settled in a two-minute burst midway through the first half. In the 14th minute Harder's through ball sent Sarah Mattner to the byline, and Linda Dallmann headed in Mattner's cross. Two minutes later Klara Bühl crossed from the left and Harder finished from close range. Bayern had threatened from the start, with Franziska Kett's early shot missing the far post by centimeters.
