OL Lyonnes turned the first meeting of France's two unbeaten clubs into a statement on Saturday night, beating Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 at the Parc des Princes to move alone to the top of the Arkema Première Ligue after five matchdays. Melchie Dumornay, Marie-Antoinette Katoto, Vicki Becho and Salma Paralluelo scored, all inside the first hour, and PSG suffered their first league defeat of the season.
Both sides arrived with four wins from four and 12 points apiece. Lyon settled the question of who leads within three minutes, when Selma Bacha crossed from the left and Dumornay headed in before PSG had found their footing. Katoto doubled the lead in the 39th minute with another header, this one from a Jule Brand cross. The goal carried an edge in Paris. Katoto came through the PSG academy and left as the club's all-time leading scorer, with 180 goals in 223 games, before signing with Lyon.
