PWHL’s 12-Team Era Brings Conferences, 180-Game Schedule and Expanded Playoffs

The Professional Women’s Hockey League will enter its fourth season with 12 teams, two conferences and the largest schedule in league history, a structural overhaul that turns expansion into a new competitive map for the 2026-27 campaign.
