The 2026 ISA World Junior Surfing Championship reaches its final day Sunday in El Salvador, with the women’s side reduced to six surfers in each age division and world titles waiting at the end of one final run through the semifinals and finals. Competition is scheduled to begin at 7:30 AM local time, bringing a nine-day championship to its decisive morning.
Girls U18 arrives at Finals Day with an especially international field. Argentina’s Victoria Muñoz Larreta meets Japan’s Kanon Takahashi and the Netherlands’ Zoie Zietz in one semifinal, while Brazil’s Luara Mandelli faces Australian teammates Leihani Zoric and Stella Green in the other. Three surfers will emerge from those heats for the final, leaving Australia with two opportunities to put a surfer into the championship heat.
