Thitikul Builds Three-Shot LOTTE Lead With Closing Birdie Pair

Jeeno Thitikul finished her third round with consecutive birdies to build a three-shot lead at the LOTTE Championship, turning a crowded afternoon at Hoakalei Country Club in Ewa Beach, Hawaii, into a clear final-round target.

The world #2 shot a 5-under 67 to reach 17-under 199 through 54 holes. Her birdies at the 17th and 18th holes capped a back nine with five of them, and they left Polly Mack and Ina Yoon tied for second at 14 under. Mack shot 70 and Yoon carded a 69. It is Thitikul’s ninth 54-hole lead of her career.
