Hail Pins Zaria With Three Champions Sharing the Ring

Three champions shared the ring, but Thea Hail walked away with the result that mattered most. Hail and AAA Reina de Reinas Champion La Catalina faced NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan and NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria, with Jordan and Zaria arriving separately and never looking particularly comfortable together. Hail spent much of the match isolated from Catalina before finally making the tag, and Catalina immediately tore through both champions. Zaria eventually stopped her with a headbutt and sent her crashing into Jordan outside, then turned back toward Hail looking to finish the match. Hail countered instead and caught the North American Champion for the three-count. After already making Zaria submit in recent weeks, Hail now gets her shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship next week.

Skylar Raye picked up a much messier win over Kali Armstrong ahead of her upcoming WWE Evolve Women’s Championship opportunity. Armstrong accidentally wiped out the referee, allowing Reina Volcan to attack both women and leave Raye draped over Armstrong for the recovering referee to count three. Elsewhere, former NXT Women’s Champion Kendal Grey remained sidelined by vertigo, with no clear return timetable adding to her frustration after going from champion to unable to compete.
