Lyons Outlasts Raye Before Choo Puts the Champion to Sleep

Skylar Raye got the biggest opportunity of her young career and made Nikkita Lyons work for her third successful EVOLVE Women’s Championship defense. Raye repeatedly used her speed to neutralize the champion’s size advantage, landing a top-rope crossbody and tornado DDT for near falls before Lyons capitalized on a missed frog splash and landed Divine Alignment to retain. The celebration lasted only seconds. Wendy Choo slipped into the ring from behind, trapped Lyons in the Dirt Nap and left the champion unconscious while holding the title over her.

Vanta the Unknown made her televised in-ring debut against WWE ID prospect Veronica Haven and immediately put something substantial behind the mystery, attacking Haven’s left arm before trapping her in the Singularity for the submission. Laynie Luck came looking for revenge and got dropped too. Elsewhere, Sloane Jacobs stole a win from PJ Vasa with help from the ropes before eating a spear on the way out, while Zena Sterling unveiled a less agreeable version of herself. Anya Rune supplied the stranger reinvention, leaning into her anime-inspired character and insisting the abilities nobody else believes she possesses are very real. Whether anyone believes her is apparently beside the point. Rune certainly does.
